Meister Tsubota demonstrates glove-making!

This demonstration is done under the auspices of Mizuno Corporation.


We celebrate the opening of the 2007 baseball season with a demonstration of glove-making by Nobuyoshi Tsubota. He is a glove-meister working for Mizuno Corporation and is known for his work used and admired by Ichiro Suzuki (Seattle Mariners) and Hideki Matsui (New York Yankees). In 1999, he was elected as a modern master-hand by the Ministry of Labor and in 2000 awarded a Yellow Ribbon Medal.
