Events in the "Golden Week"
at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

1) 90 Elementary and Junior High School students will be rewarded if they get good results from Virtual Batting in any one of the following three tryouts. Each session admits 30 participants, under 'first come, first served' system. They can try their batting only once (3 balls).

On Wednesday, May 5, 2010 (Children's Day)
10:30-11:30, 13:00-14:00, 15:00-16:00

2) A pin badge (shaped like the Tokyo Dome) will be given to all of
the Elementary and Junior High School students during the following days.

Thursday, April 29, 2010 through Wednesday, May 5, 2010

3) The 5,000,000th visitor will be rewarded!
Since its opening on June 12, 1959, almost five million persons
have visited the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. The 5,000,000th
vistor will be rewarded with a bat modelled on Ichiro's.

A quiz to predict the day when the BHFM will greet the 5 millionth
visitor are now open (until Wednesday, April 21, 2010) to all of the
visitors to the BHFM. Three winners (to be decided on lottery)
will be given a bat modelled on other pro players.
