Tuesday, September 9,2014 through Monday, November 24, 2014
At the Exhibition Hall of the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum
In Cooperation with The Yomiuri Shimbun
The Exhibition will trace the history of the Japan-U.S. Baseball Games by showing a number of memorial artifacts used by superstars who have participated in the Games.
As this year marks the 80th anniversary of the coming of the American All-Stars headed by Babe Ruth in 1934,the exhibit highlights particularly the events of the 1934 Tour. Posters of the Tour depicting Babe Ruth, both All-Japan and All-American jerseys, photos and many other archival materials will be displayed.
The exhibition also celebrates the 80th anniversary of the current NPB since Dai Nippon Tokyo Yakyu Club (now the Yomiuri Giants) was formed in late 1934 by comprising most of the members of the 1934 All-Japan Team.
During the 2014 All-Star Series between Japan and U.S.(November 10 to 20), photos and newspapers will be added to the exhibit.
