Special exhibition Commemorating Ichiro Suzukifs 4000 hit

Yankees outfielder Ichiro Suzuki recorded his 4,000th career hit against Toronto Blue Jays on August 21, 2013. He had 1,278 hits with the Orix Blue Wave(NPB, 1992-2000) and as of end of 2013 season, he has 2,742 hits with the Mariners and Yankees.
Featuring his 4000-hit milestone in his professional career between Japan and the U.S., the Museum has some of his materials put on display at the Entrance Hall.
Items on display include Orix jersey worn by Ichiro, Mariner and Yankee jerseys worn and autographed by Ichiro, Mariner hat autographed by Ichiro, shoes worn by Ichiro in the 2012 MLB Opening Series Japan, ball in his first 2012 season at-bat and some photographs.
