In early days, players would wear gloves as a means of protection from injury. Many functional improvements have been made since then and it has evolved as a tool for ease of catching and fielding balls.
The coming exhibition will feature some 60 gloves, catcherfs mitts and first base mitts worn by Baseball Hall of Famers and other past and present superstars.
