In early days, players would wear gloves as a means of protection from injury. Many functional improvements have been made since then and it has evolved as a tool for ease of catching and fielding balls.
The coming exhibition will feature some 60 gloves, catcherfs mitts and first base mitts worn by Baseball Hall of Famers and other past and present superstars.
