The pioneer baseball broadcaster was the first to cover the
game in which the legendary Sawamura pitched. His verbal
broadcasting in "Yakyushonen"enthused young baseball fans
after the war. In 1955, he began a new style of broadcasting
with the commentator Tokuro Konishi with much success.
